Save the biosphere! 

The October session has the STEM project participants struggling through multiple questions based on two weeks of biosphere data. Their mission: create a correction to save the biosphere! The day's investigations require numerous variable-testing with cellular respiration, CO2, O2, soil, plants, water.... and a lot of research on the Internet!

Dr. Mooney reminds us that we need more engineers. Currently only 6% of  U.S. college students are pursuing a degree in engineering compared to 40% of college students in China. 

*The ability to work in a team is more important than being the "smartest" person.
